We are a family of four based in Co. Westmeath, Ireland. When our son was 18 months old, he began refusing to wear certain clothes—especially socks. Family and friends found it amusing when he’d wander off as a toddler and return holding his outfits, but for us, it was the start of a daily struggle. We spent endless hours hunting for label-free, seamless, or soft-seamed clothing, even becoming experts at surgical label removal.
Later, we learned he was showing signs of sensory processing issues and hypersensitivity to everyday fabrics. After years of trying to source gentle clothing in Ireland—and just trying to keep our son dressed and comfortable—we decided to take matters into our own hands.
